Eye Brow lift and cat eye/fox eye lift

Droopy eyebrows, saggy eyelids and tired looking under eyes are most annoying clues of aging process on the upper face.

Aging, genetics, and sun exposure contribute to droopy, or ptotic eyebrows, eye lids. This is typically most noticeable near the tail of the eyebrows where the forehead muscle is weakest to keep the eyebrows lifted.

During the aging process we also loose the volume on the temple areas which supports lateral eye lids, eyebrows and forehead which also needs to be considered as a part of eyebrow lift.

There are multiple ways of eyebrow and eye lifting including, botulinum toxin injections, fillers, threads, and surgery.

In our clinic all are available and Dr Deniz Kanliada will explain which treatment or combination will be the best for your according to your age, skin type and goals.

Botulinum toxin can be used to lift mainly the medial (close to the nose) and central portion of the eyebrows. Lateral portion of the eyebrows or the tails usually can not be lifted with the toxin injections and need extra support which can be temple filler or threads.

PDO (polydioxanone) or PLLA (Poly L lactic acid) threads are most popular cogged or barbed threads which are used to lift the eyebrows, eyelids and change the shape of the eyes too.

Threads are shorter than face threads and they are inserted from the hairline or under the eyebrows to lift the tail of the eyebrows to a higher point in the forehead as desired.

Threads are self-dissolvable in 6-9 months and results last up to 12-15 months.

Combining threads with temple fillers and botulinum toxin injections at the same time will give superior results and results will last longer.

%2 lidocaine is injected in the entry point of the threads and pain is minimum to none.

There is no downtime for the eyebrows thread lift and minimum swelling and bruising is expected for 2-3 days.

Patients are not allowed gym or physical exercises for a week and avoid facials, massage, sun beds, tanning for 2 weeks.
