Revision Rhinoplasty

Revision Rhinoplasty

Like many types of plastic surgery, a nose job can always go wrong and when it does, most of the patients seek another operation to improve the unwanted results or the breathing problems caused by the previous surgery.

It is estimated that as many as 15 per cent of patients who have nose jobs go back at least once to have their initial procedure repaired. We cannot always predict the outcome of a nose job with one hundred per cent certainty as it depends on so many different factors like age, skin type, social life etc.

As with all types of plastic surgery, having realistic expectations is the key. Every step of the surgery should be discussed with the surgeon to understand what can be improved, how it can be improved and also what cannot be improved.
